Adaptive Diving First Hand

Adaptive diving has been a very important part of my life. As an amputee and someone who also deals with PTSD, there are certain things I do a bit slower or differently to get around on a daily basis. But when I'm in the water, I can maneuver just as good as any "Normie". There is also an amazing calming affect the under water life has on me. All my stress and worries just go away and for how ever long I'm in the water, nothing matters.

Diving opened up a whole new world for me and changed my life. I became an instructor to

give back to other wounded veterans who, like me, had challenges in their daily lives. I wanted them to know that there are activities, such as scuba diving, that are not only exciting but therapeutic as well. Where we forget we have injuries and everyone is healthy.
