This course is to provide the diver with the knowledge and skills to plan and make deep dives while minimizing risks and avoiding the need for staged decompression. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates are considered competent to engage in open water diving activites, areas dived, and equipment approximate those of training.
 
Prerequisites
 
Minimum age is 10 years for Junior certification
Minimum age is 15 years for Adult certification
 
Current enrollment in or certification as an Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver or the equivalent is required.
