Overview and Qualifications
 
This course provides the fundamental knowledge and skills to scuba dive once your open water training is complete. Upon sucessful completion of this course, graduates are considered competent to engage in open water diving activities without supervision, provided the diving enviornment, activities, ares dived, and equipment approximate those of training.
 
Prerequisites
 
Minimum age is 10 years for Junior Certification
Minimum age is 15 years for Adult Certification
 
There is no prior certification required to enter this course. Participants must be able to demonstrate a novice swimming ability
